Asymmetric

Chiffon sheer fabrics has got to be my new favorite fabric choice. That's why when I first saw this dress, I knew I had to have it. The details on this dress is mesmerizing. From the pleats on top of the dress, to the flowery designs on the fabric itself. The entire dress was actually not lined at all. So everything was see-through. Therefore, I had to pair it with a black skirt and bandu underneath. The structure of this dress was a little too plain for me so I wanted to jazz it up a bit. I ended up with this asymmetrical look in which I gathered the waist for the front part of the dress and left the entire back alone. I would prefer this with a different belt of course but in the midst of moving my clothes from the apartment to my house, things tend to get lost.
Also, here is a DIY tutorial I did the other day and just haven't had the chance to post it up. This is by far the busiest holiday for me this year. For this DIY, I wanted to show everyone a simple technique that you can use to shorten a long sleeve shirt. Have you ever gone shopping and found the "almost" perfect shirt and everything fits very well except for the sleeves? Well here's an easy fix to that. If you have large sweatshirts laying around from your father or bf, you can use this technique to incorporate it to a cute dress. Hope you all enjoy!
